So my mum has gotten fed up with her e90 M3 as it drinks too much petrol for her 25mph round town driving!! 

She wants rid but doesnt know what to replace it with, she wants a soft top and something that has room in the back for kids, she also doesnt want to spend anymore on a car, so she will sell the m3 (and loose alot of money) and get a new-ish car, doesnt have to be brand new, but cant be older that 18months, she likes the a4 cab etc etc.....

any ideas will be great.

I'd be going for an E-Class Cabriolet, probably an E250 CDI if fuel efficiency is important.

I actually quite like the A5 Cabriolet too.
