Get them to open a dispute, you have nothing to lose.

It may call their bluff as well if you place the ball in their court.

They could have done it before too which eBay will know about and if they haven't they will now.

Get eBay to decide what your to do.

You said it was not working which it wasn't.

I would suspect they needed a Blu Ray lead!!!

I am really fed up of eBay, especially buyers buying stuff and not paying and all they get is a non payment strike.

And definitely don't give any money back until you get it back.

Let eBay sort it all thats why you pay fees.

Ebay prefer you to work things out first before opening the dispute. Also getting negative feedback on ebay isn't always a good thing espec if you sell on regular basis.
Last fri a new ebay user left negative feedback for me after not recieving his items, didn't contact me just went on ebay and left bad feedback(bearing in mind theres problems with post at the moment) that weekend I didn't get one purchase where normally i will get 8-10 sales so if your a regular seller then this may hamper you later on. Theres a live talk to ebay function , not sure if its available to everyone but I use it sometimes when I am unsure what to do.
