Hi guys, welcome to my last write up of 2010. You might say I’ve saved the best car until last! This is a stunning 2010 Bentley Continental GT Speed in Onyx Black with Magnolia main hide.
The car has covered 5000 miles and, it is used to its full potential by the owner. The car came to me quite dirty so it was hard to get an idea of the paintwork. Once I had it washed it was easy to see there were quite a lot of light swirl marks and marring spoiling the beautifully painted car.
The car was booked in for an Enhancement Detail + interior detail.
Here is the car on arrival...
The first job I wanted to get started on was the interior. I started this at around 7 PM and finished around 10PM.
First up, dust down!
Below is a sequence of before and after pictures. This better explains the attention to detail and what was done!
A few after pictures of this stunning interior...
The boot was also done...
Now, the next morning I completed the wet work. It really was wet work on this car; the rain was relentless and came down very hard. I got soaked and my camera would if I was taking any pics!
The car was washed, de-tarred then brought back into the unit wet to commence the claying.
The Bentley definitely need a good clay, every panel was full of contamination as shown below.
The car was then blow dried then towel dried.
After claying, I gave the car an IPA wipe down and assessed the paintwork.
As mentioned before, there was quite a lot of light swirling and marring, nothing too major, but it did affect the overall look of the paintwork.
This was dealt with using
Swissvax Cleaner Fluid pro on a
Swissvax Finishing pad from the Pad Tower.

The boot lid done in the same way, as with the rest of the car...

The smaller, more intricate areas of the car received the same treatment but with a smaller
Swissvax finishing pad.
A-Pillars being polished.
The car was then sealed using our own winter sealant!
Now, once all the paintwork had been polished and sealed it was time to start on the finishing touches!
The wheels were polished with
Swissvax cleaner fluid by hand and sealed with
Swissvax autobahn. This was also applied with my hands/fingers
