best advice I could give would be to get down one of the expensive car washes that clean under the car too.
To do it on your drive would be madness, as the water would all freeze on your drive, and next thing, no win no fee, due to the paperboy falling over and sliding down into the road.

id like to do mine but cant and wont for a few reasons, 1-my hose pie is froze solid so no water, 2-any water that hits the car freezes at these temps and 3-id rather wait than do a rush job and risk causing any damage to the paint.

oh and its really really cold outside so ill stay inside in the warm  :happy2:

My outside tap was frozen. Otherwise I'd have considered pressure washing the snow off the drive to save me shovelling it!  :fighting:

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Much as i hate a dirty car in this weather no. Clean the rubber mats regular due to all the salt etc but outside gets left  :sad1:.Better dirty that have all the locks/door rubbers frozen up. :happy2:

I havent given my car any attention for a good few weeks now :(
Altho the last clean it got, i really went to town on it and finished with 2 coats of 476.

I really wanna give it a going over but its just not possible in this weather :(
It'll be a late xmas present to the car when it gets washed i think!

I have just done both of ours including the diesel devil!

There was a horrid build up of salt on the inner face of the alloys :ashamed:

Glad they both gleam now....although by the time I use them tomorrow, I know they will be covered again :rolleye:

I last washed mine on about the 20th of november i think, right before i put it in the garage inside the carcoon, some people think im  :stupid: but there is no chance it was going out in a foot of snow, so i bought a winter car , when the salt and snow does one, the golf will be back out to play  :happy2:
