Dead easy, just keep it in drive and slowly take your foot off the brake with no throttle. Once it starts creeping, gently give it more. I had no issues last year, even on PS2s and the ungritted country lanes around my house.
If you get stuck, ESP/traction off helps. Reversing up hills can be easier if you're in real schtuk. A quick left foot dab of the brake will stop a single spinning wheel, transfers power to the other briefly and the resulting jolt can bounce you free.
