Mk 6 doorcards in a mk 5???

as the golf 6 actually is a golf 5,5 does the doorcards fit from a 6 in a 5??
they should provided you change the dash also right??

I have no idea, but my guess is they dont fit, or some mad modder would have done this already.  :happy2:

Hi jake no they don't fit as darren has tried and they don't fit!!!
they would only fit if you had the mk6 dashboard,or was it the scirocco.

Also remember that the mk6 door design is totally different to the mk5 as it has a design similar to the mk4 not one were the outer skin comes off. It also has speakers etc in different places etc.
Ex mk5 GTI owner, moved to a mk6 in 2010.

It physically will fit with a bit of modding the dash side are the same but just a touch higher but a mk6 dash would go straight in although you would then need a new instrument cluster.

To actually do it you would need a complete crash damaged car or at least the whole interior...?
