Unblocking iPhone 4

Basically lost my iPhone last week, phoned my insurance up cancelled the phone and got a new one sent out .
Sooo new phone comes and what turns up , my old phone 
What are my options ?  can it be unblocked or do I just have a spare iPod touch now ?

If you set the phone up as a new phone in iTunes using a different sim card it "may" work.

It depends how they have blocked it. If it's just the sim you should be ok. If they have blocked the IMEI no. then you would have to speak to the network.

Thought it might be something along they lines 
Tried a different sim card and put it back to factory but still blocked
Will need to phone about to see if anyone knows how to unblock it...

Sounds like they have blocked the IMEI no. Should work in Europe & the rest of the world tho so ebay it?.

U can't unlock it u can either use it in another country or there is another way I'm not posting up lol

I would not discuss such illegal activities on an open forum, as stated above it belongs to the insurance company now
