Flu....

Anyone else had the bloody flu this Xmas ? I got it on the 22nd dec and couldn't leave the house for 4 days, then got a chest infection. Great.  I'm just about half ok now, I hope nobody else has had their Xmas ruined with it !

Had it a week before christmas, chest infection and all. A bout of antibiotics sorted me out in a week.

Then woke up on 29th and it has returned with avengance  :sad1: Need to try and get back to the doc's ASAP..

No. I had the flu injection about two months ago. Had the sniffles at one point but that's it. Everyone else I know who didn't bother got the flu and got it hard.

Hope you get better quickly mate. Man-flu is okay but proper 'flu is horrendous.

Ive had it since Monday and I had the flu jab. Yesterday was the first day I left the house. Aint had a cold in ages. :fighting: :fighting: :fighting: :fighting: :fighting:

My whole house has had it really and most people I know. I thought you could only get a flu jab if you were in a high risk category?

I got it after I finished your car mark. I was in bed for a week. Missed all the Christmas piss ups. I managed to have a normal day on the 27th dec. I'm much better now.

i had it from about the 5th dec upuntil about the 20th. i was broken.

The missus wasnt having it though, tried explaining i had multple illness's and she just couldnt understand.

I self diagnosed as having Man-flu, Man-injitus, man-laria
