Looking for some new front tyres, anyone have a good recomdation?
TR dsg, stage 1 r-tec map, bbs ch in gloss black, black roof and badges, colour coded, neuspeed hybrid intake, cat back exhaust..

ive been looking at Vreddestein Ultrac Ssesanta's.

How have you found them?

for the reletively low price, they perform admirably.

Im on my 2nd set, and will be keeping with them.

Much better then, dunlops, Conti's and bridgestones ive had on the 3 different mk5 Gti's ive had.

Ps3's give also good reputation, but are alot more expensive, but have a slightly harder compound and last longer depending on what type of driver/urban or motorway user.

£88 a corner +vat for the vred's at camskill.co.uk, last time i ordered some.

I hear that Conti Sport 3's are very very good at the moment and won EVO front wheel drive tyre test.

Usually good enough for me.

Iv noticed that! My first lot cost me £75 a tyre the next £85 and now he wants £95...still a good tyre at a good price though compared to others  :happy2:

Just ordered some Verds from a dealer on Ebay £95 each, cheapest i could find

2007 GTI DSG, Xenon's, Armrest 6 Disc ,Rear Parking Sensors,Sunroof,Lux Pack,Cruise,Electric drivers seat,MFSW,RNS 510,Miltek Cat Back.

I have used these for a couple of years now and no complaints and I love they way they look when they have the morning dew on them  :grin:

A couple of questions for the guys running the Vredestein's.
It looks like quite an agressive tread pattern, so what's tyre noise like? and how many miles are you getting out of them?
