Try looking on dw for optimum no rinse. It's a great product to use when you can't find a hose pipe. I wouldn't recommend washing your car like this when it's really dirty though

Ive previously used a hand spray bottle to put a detergent and water mix on the car, left that to reside before rinsing with several buckets of water and then two bucket, it doesn't foam up but you at least get the chemical action to loosen the grease and dirt.  Its a bit laborious and doesnt foam on impact but needs must sometimes.

Valet Pro's Ph neutral snow foam can be used via low pressure hand/pump sprayer and works very effectively but to rinse of you need a hose at least.

Ahh so that might be an option! Thanks!  :happy2:

Can you recommend a good hand sprayer? I notice that you do forum discount on cleaning products... whats the deal?

15% off the shop products
I have been trying out some over the festive period, I just got a 6L Kwazaar that uses a hand held lance, but tried out the pH Neutral in a 2L low pressure spray.
Kwazaar seem a good brand but they go under MercuryPro and another name.

For snow foam, you need a good mix of air and you need pressure. Using a bogstandard chemical sprayer bottle will do bugger all. Even using one of those hand-held things just won't be anywhere near as effective as a proper lance.

ONR - something I've thought of dabbling but TBH not worth the potential damage. Quite a few people on DW really rate it though.

It might be better to take it to a detailer and get it looked after properly rather than wasting money on products you're probably end up replacing any way.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
