iTunes question
« on: January 04, 2011, 10:45:49 pm »
Hi all. Question for any Apple/iTunes buffs out there.

Is it possible to incorporate a Podcast into one of my music playlists or can Podcasts and music not feature together? I've downloaded a fantastic Podcast with four hours of music on it and would ideally like to add it to one of my playlists to play in the car, but can't figure out how to do it.

Any pointers much appreciated.

Cheers.

You dont need to add it to a playlist... just make sure it is selected in the Podcast tab once youve plugged your ipod in .

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I dont have a VW MDI unit - I play my stuff via an 'X-Carlink' unit to my RCD510. Does the same instruction still apply?

I'm confused!

No idea... is that one of the systems that only lets you use "playlists"!

TBH id put that in the bin and just get a 3.5mm aux in so you can play what you want when you want!

So, with a 3.5mm Aux in, I'd just control what I wanted to play from the iPod itself?

Correct! Which IMO is a billion times better than pi$$ing around with silly playlists.  :happy2:

On your pod on the bottom menu where playlist etc sits in the menu choose the 'more...' option, then podcast
