lol, i dont actually mind it tbh, its the tax free deal, and 3 years free servicing thats making the fabia look good.  13k for a spankers 180Hp car with DSG isnt to be sniffed at.

Just looking at a clio 172 with uprated suspension, brakes, shocks etc.  Ready to track by the look of it :popcornsoda:, only issue is you know its been ragged.

Defo wouldnt go with that Fabia, yes it will save you money over the SEAT or VW equivelent, but imagine having to look at that thing everyday!  :surprised:

Get the Clio, spend £500 on some H&R coilovers, Yozzasport exhaust - DONE!  :happy2:

Does it have to be the estate??

Can't see the fascination with how quick it can drag itself down a tarmac strip - What you need to be interested in is real world driving, living with the car on a daily basis.

Just phoned up about this one http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201050375472471/sort/priceasc/usedcars/fuel-type/petrol/price-to/2000/engine-size-cars/2l_to_2-5l/model/clio/make/renault/page/1/postcode/me75df/radius/30?logcode=p

Mentioned that i highly doubted the performance figure as they make substantially less than stated power normally.  Then mentioned that the price was a bit ambitious, and before ive even looked at the car, i have got em down to £1600   dont know if thats a good or bad thing.  although in fairness most stock cars are similar in price with most less mileage.  so a modded one should cost less as its 100% been hammered.

could be worth a punt though

i could live with the estate easier than the hatch, think its better proportioned plus i have a dog.  i thought it drove OK as well.

its 11 years old so average mileage.  And i wouldnt pay 1600 anyway.  I like a barter .  it'd be a sacrificial car that no doubt would just get spanked on track throughout the summer.

I only normally drive about 300mile per month so its not got to cover distance.  this is a reason im not sure about paying all this money out for a new car that i wont drive it that much.
