Cant make it this year Shins, I've done this a couple of times on the RAF runway, some mental cars there, last years quickest was 8.6 sec  :surprised: I think I did 19 sec.

On one run I was sat behind a Ferrari F40, I can still hear it now  :happy2:

Pretty sure Wilko is up for this, Ben, I sent him the details. I might pop along to have a shot in the more-door sh*tbox of win again!
Sideways yo!

Shhh... don't give the game away! The looks on people's faces as the sleeper's middle age'd man spec dented heap destroys them is what's best about it.

It's running better than it ever has been at the moment, certainly much quicker than last time I had it out to play at Inters, I can see it surprising a few.
Sideways yo!

It certainly sounded healthy at Awesome last month...  :surprised:

Nice one guys, good representation off here, RSownersclub and AudiRSR forums! :happy2:

Ben you going again?

If so you done anything else to the car?

Hope you get as good a day as last year not much head winds so would expect the likes of Ben (especially with the DSG) getting into 15-16's! :happy2:

I'll have a go next year at this.  My car wont be built in time for it, but id love to see how it does it, although this is more of a brute power test as a pose to power to weight.  Still good for a bench mark though.  especially if i can switch the map from perfomance to stock settings

It's a bit of both really to be fair Sy. Yeah 100-130 is more about brute power, but the 30-100 is in favour of the power/weight. You'd be suprised at what some the VAG's will compete against..

Of course I am Rod, would you expect anything else?  I was there last year FFS and wasn't even driving..   :signLOL:
I am Stage 2+ now (Stage 2 last time I ran), so a good 30bhp more than before.. Fingers crossed for a good time..
You still need to work on these Mk2 RS boys mate.. They seem to be coming up with the excuses again..  :sad1:

Any links of the threads? always like a laugh.

Even when i get mine stage 2 it wont have anywhere near the power to weight of a stage 2+ ed30.  ill realistically be looking at 180-187Hp/ton at best.  So not slow by any means but small fry in comparison.  Still impressive for a 1.4 if REVO are correct in their estimations though
