HELP: Hood light won't go off and alarm keeps going off

Hi mate haven't got a pic 2 hand but Will take 1 also were u located bud??? And my mate works at Vw I will see if he's got a spare switch layin about as that's were I got mine from Wen I did it on my old car

Ok Managed to find the cable behind drivers headlamp and disconnect/ cable tie out the way... Hood light warning now gone 

Hopefully as a result of this the alarm didn't go off last night 

I can also confirm that the double locking with the key does indeed lock the car with the alarm disarmed 

Will get round to fixing the micro switch at some point but happy with this for now

Ahhhhh that's gd then, I spoke 2 my mate at Vw and he ain't got 1 lyin about but he is gona get me the part number and price for you..... If not I could always order u 1 and send it down 2 you bud
