Do both of these fit in the holders?

Yep, they're a a bit thicker so not as easy to put in as a normal bulb but they fit

Hi...i'm sorry to bring this thread back....i am trying to buy some leds for my 09 gti ed30....but i am still a bit confused even having spent hours today going through all the threads i could find on changing interior and exterior lights to the white led ones without getting errors coming up etc.....  there isnt really a clear definitive answer to what you need to buy....as far as i can work out, these are the kind of lamps(bulbs) you need....

FRONT and REAR INTERNAL SPOT LIGHTS -      5 x     501 4 SMD LED WHITE BULBS (194 T10 new mini light tower 9 LEDS)

FOOTWELLS   -   2 x     501 T10 W5W

GLOVEBOX  -  1 x      501 W5W

VANITY MIRROR VISORS   -  2 x        42mm 3 WA SMT LEDS Festoon 6W output cool white light

BOOT  -  1 x       42mm White LED Festoon Bulb

NUMBER PLATES  -  error free canbus 38mm number plate festoons

I am still a bit confused as to if some of these are actually the same....could someone correct what i have written or make things a little clearer...  much appreciated
