you should do a K03 and K04 GB, you would get maximum interest and hopefully then maximum discount

Great idea  :happy2:

Yes, you have to lose the engine cover or do major modifications to it (cutting) for the intake to fit.

Could you tell me what the difference is between the K03 and K04 intake?

Does the BSH intake need modifying to fit the OEM diverter valve relocation on the ED30s?

The reason I am asking is because I am planning to do a K04 conversion on my my K03 so would like to know if the bung in the BSH intake is compatible with the OEM diverter valve relocation or is it only compatible with BSH's own diverter valve relocation?

I suspect you will have to email Phil at BSH directly as the oem k04 car is not available in the US.

....

KRL - You may also find some helpful info if you visit GOLFMKV forum across the pond : -

Be prepared for the fact that the forum Moderators over there are far more lax about language etc and that if someone tells you your car is sick they are paying you a compliment!

1x KO4 for me!

These BSH ones are rated on VWVortex and also golfmkv.com very highly!

They use metal pipework instead of the EVOMS plastic stuff.

AFAIK The only diffeence will be for the size inlet going to the DV.  BSH currently has its own solution for the DV relocation and their inlet size is 1.5 inches.  However the OEM setup in the K04 turbos needs a 1 inch inlet.

Therefore I guess BSH mght be making an intake with a 1 inch inlet for the OEM K04 setup or they might supply a silicone reducer so the intake will work with OEM relocation hardware.
