This isnt for a mk5 im afraid, my girlfriend has a renault megane 2 and sometimes when it rains overnight the battery will be dead in the morning. Infact the car was working fine one day, i washed it and the car wouldnt start straight after. Does anybody have any ideas where to start looking, im gonna have a good look on sunday and ive had a good search on google but cant really find anything. Would like some ammunition what to look at on sunday before i tackle it blindfolded. If i was to attach a multimeter to the battery and wire it through a gromet in the bulkhead, throw water over the car while someone sits in the car with the multimeter to watch out when there is a draw that could help me to start looking in the right direction would this work?
