good news for AMD then.  Be good to see them fighting it out in the midfield.  Last season was abysmal in all fairness so good luck to them this season.

never thought about the 5 door ruling though.  that would have been rubbish and expensive of they were forced to get anoher shell in, and prepare from scratch

Well it still looks like crap.... but lets hope they get some decent results with it this year!

Got to agree, when they unveiled it I was very underwelmed with it. But the whole milltek stand was the same I dont know why they bother going to shows its always staffed with people who know jack about what their products.
MP4 was brilliant. Engineering section was amazing some of the machined parts are almost works of art.

Did anyone check out the cars going into the auction some nice cars but some were hingin, dried polish on panels and trim, dirty wheels and tyres, one even had a flat.

....Okay, but what do you expect a BTCC dedicated race car to look like? None of them would win a beauty parade but they look nicely funky in their own way. IMO.

have to agree slightly with keith and richwig.

rear bumper from the side looks shocking, infact the whole car from the side is shocking

looks like its just glued on

Love the civics, think the chevy looks quite smart, the BMW's just look normal, the vectra's are chavtastic lol, but the golf is poor.  Have to say i like the Civics and the Leon the most

In AmDMilltek's defence, Sy, don't the other teams you mention have significantly larger racing budgets?

I agree it could be better styled, but.

To be honest it doesnt matter what it looks like, so long as it works.  Its not a beauty contest.  I read the article in Trackdriver by Sean who said that last year was the first time since he started racing that it had a real positive influence on his buisness.

The wings just look like after thoughts.... something like this....

"Ohh Sh8t.... we need to run a wider track, which is going to make the wheels protrude from the arches thus failing regulations"

"....ok, dont panic.... lets get one of the blue peter team down here!"

looked crap then looked crap now.  minor faults i guess.  just hope the engine is capable of matching the main runners. from what i gather from reading the post race reviews etc, its not lacking in the corners, but was pants on the straights
