I can't really bear Jesse J or Katy B. Not my scene at all.

Not sure they'll be big, but I'm enjoying the Warpaint album at the moment, and I'm quite looking forward to the new White Lines album out on Monday I think.

In fact, there are quite a few new releases I'm looking forward to, new Elbow album, be interested to hear the Beady Eye stuff, and also Gruff Rhys' new solo album.

Should be a good year for music!

Oh, and The SHoes, a couple of guys from France, responsible for some absolute electro club bangers, who have been getting a fair bit of hype recently. Watch this space!

Oops, yes :ashamed:

Yes, the Broken Bells album is great, but I love Danger Mouse and I love the Shins, so that was always going to work for me!

Not a big fan of Adele but I'm liking that "Rolling in the deep" a lot.
I hate listening to daytime Radio 1 these days as they change the playlist every fortnight and repeat the same three or four songs on every show,so much so that by the time a good one is released,I'm sick to death of hearing it!
Not liking this Jesse J(where did she suddenly spring from?) or Katy B-don't think they'll have staying power anyway.
Keep buying the good stuff by groups like Elbow and Mumford & son-at least they write thier own stuff and have started from the bottom and worked thier way up and not just been cut, pasted and packaged into a Pop Product.

I did realise that as I was typing it, but just simon is nearly always unavailable as a username so the p gets added. I do put other letters after the p outside t'internet, though! :rolleye:
