R32/S3 brakes
«
on:

Whilst browsing the bay I come across these
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230574013051
. I would appreciate any opinions, my first concern was the condition and also the fact the calipers aren't blue?!
But I'm no expect, hence the post!
By the way, I got first dibs.

They are from a MK2 TT 3.2V6. The TT came with the calipers unpainted.

Love the look of the discs with the soft pad grinding marks still on them!

Mmmmmm, that is exactly why I asked the 'experts'.....................I have emailed the seller for further details, and regarding the unpainted calipers, his response was: "they are only blue when boy racers paint them, aren't they"

Well he must be right then.
My R32 has blue ones. I wonder which boy racer painted them.

R32 are blue calipers/ S3 are black/ Cupra R including K1 are red.....as BDMalex said the TT ones were unpainted apparently all use the same ATE caliper combined with the 345mm front disc, the Cupra R and K1 have same rears as Gti/Edition 30 iirc
