I have a spare MAF here if you would like to try that first. I'm in Guisborough if you can collect it or can post it if its too far for you to travel. Its used but works fine.  :happy2:

There is nothing wrong with those.

As long as there isnt more than a 5bar difference that is sustained it's fine. The two bits you have at 5.43 and 6.03 are brief so I wouldn't be concerned.

Edit - Knew i should have read the previous posts

Block 032 is your fuel trim. Should be somewhere between -8 & +8 in both boxes  :happy2:

How do you get the screen shots from excel up on to the thread Dom?  :ashamed: I'll post some logs of mine to compare if you want?

Ill do some more logs tonight. New maf on order from stealers. All u need to do is have the logs up on the screen and press the printscreen button on the keyboard. Open up 'paint' then click paste, crop it if you wish, then save it as a jpg file then upload to photobucket etc.
Thanks so far for the help :happy2:

You don't need to log.

Just switch on the ignition, fire up VCDS, select engine, click measuring blocks and type in 032. There will then be values in the first 2 boxes. These are what should be within -8 to +8

It doesn't appear to do anything but it does.

As HeavyD has said. Press Print Screen, Open up paint, Press Ctrl & V (or click paste) and the screenshot will appear. :happy2:

It actually does exactly what it says. If you want to just copy the active window then press ALT + Print Screen.

Size isn't everything you know.

Just select the section you want and copy/paste into a new paint window.

Here goes. It seems that the high lambda value in the first column is higher compared to everyone elses logs?
Thanks for the Maf offer jon-tsfi, but after thinking about it, I'd rather try a brand new one to guarantee it isnt the MAF at fault before spending anymore of my hard earned!
If fuel had been leaking, musnt have been much, as my oil was low again!, only put a litre in teh other month :stupid:
Thanks for your logs Ben and hedge :happy2:

Lambda (Idle)   Lambda (Partial)
Self-Adaptation   Self-Adaptation
 %    %
-6.1   0
-6.1   0

So upon research, the idle is controlled by the primary o2 sensor asell. how easy is this too change?

the lambda readings are within tolerance (a minus figure means its removing fuel as its running a little rich)  mine were -8 and with the new MAF they are -1.2.
