Cheapest place to buy a 64GB
« on: January 17, 2011, 08:32:19 pm »
I know there was a thread recently but cant find it so i need your help guy's A friend of mine had a serious accident recently so we are getting him a new ipad as he will be incapacitated for a while.

I need help with the cheapest and the spec. I always ignore the tec threads  :ashamed: sorry! am i right in thinking he does not need the 3G one as it can be connected another way which is cheaper.

So do i need the 64GB wifi only.  :happy2:

Found it on amazon for a initial cost base.  http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B003V1E2YK/ref=sr_1_4_olp?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1295295881&sr=1-4&condition=new

64Gb Wifi and then get a Mifi which can run on any network (once unlocked) saves you about £50 overall :happy2:

Nope don't have to do anything to the iPad.

You just have to unlock the Mifi which is one of these beauties

http://threestore.three.co.uk/broadband/?mifi=1&id=1184

You can find them all over the net starting for around £45 or you can get unlocked ones ready to go for about £60 from ebay (however it is easy enough to do yourself)

It will then take any PAYG or Contract broadband sim card. I use a 3 or a Voda one in mine :happy2:

That's how i use my 64Gb iPad when away from wireless. You just keep the mifi in your pocket and away you go. It creates it's own little wifi network and you can connect up to 5 devices. I often have both my iPhone and iPad on it's network when out and about :happy2:
