Ok, so i just fitted a Forge vacumm tap (the one on top of he engine) and there was oil inside. normal?

Its normal to have some oil residue as the pipe that fits onto the inlet manifold where the tap is fitted is a breather that recircs wasted oil vapour from the engine.

hum, fair enough, but then surely thats a bad place to connect a DV solenoid and a boost gauge! its going to bet all bunged up and cause damage
