Parrot CK3100 and RDC300, help no sound!
« on: January 16, 2011, 08:32:36 pm »
Fitting a Parrot CK3100 to the Mrs' GT Sport (RCD300) and come across a problem and I'm looking for a little help.

I bought the Autoleads SOT-976 connector lead, pluged it in and connected the 12v lead and everything powered up. But there was a spare plug that had nowhere to plug it into..

The unit powers up, paired it with the phone and makes calls that can be heard on the other side BUT there is no soud coming from the car speakers..

This is what's not connected:

This is the only place it will fit but there's nothing on the other end of the socket..

I also have these that I dont know where they go  :ashamed:

Any help would be greatfull guys

ps. sorry for the poor iphone pics..

Hard to tell from the photos on my iPhone, but the 2 iso plugs go side by side in the socket.

Have you got a switched live from the fusebox?

Yes, I've got a switched live feed..

I know the iso plug goes into the socket beside the other plug but theres nothing on the back of the socket on that side  :sad1:

I don't understand that. I've never actually looked at the back but anytime I've installed one that's where it goes.

I usually use the SOT 076 though.

No, I know there are a couple of SOTs that work.

I searched on google and the 976 does seem to be for VW.

You shouldn't need to use them. They are only if you have an aftermarket amplifier I think
