Hi folks, have a 06 Gti with standard headunit. What are my options as regards to leads through glovebox etc for connecting the ipod to the standard unit.

Not sure what there is for the standard unit apart from the factory fitted ipod wire.
I have the RNS510 and fitted the MDI cable to get full iPod usage.

I dont have an rns510 just the standard unit :-( but have been told I can run a lead circa £20-30 to the glove box for an iPod. Unsure as to the control I would have over it..
