its gone, im without a car for the minute

you say that, ive actually been considering Bluefin for that very reason.  REVO will be very aggressive and high on torque.  Maybe bluefin will be more reserved.  Id go there and get them to map it @ their HQ though if i was to do it

I think we can only hope that VW will go the extra mile and beef up the internals if they're going to start producing 200+ BHP versions of this little engine.
I can't see well heeled trendy Audi S1 owners putting up with knackered engines for long.

Not into the engine/turbo upgrade route.  Ill do whats safe for the standard internals and gear box and no more.  Ill just do the brakes and handling instead.

hedge stop laughing at my 1.4.  Just because you have nearly 3 times the CC

I was under the impression that the 7 speed DSG in the Fabia vRS (that is what your having built, isn't it?) is a hair's breath from maximum tolerances on the torque front, so no remap for Sy!!

You can remap it. The torque delivery is altered and the curve fattened without the level actually being increased so i'm led to believe

Still won't sound as good as a vRS with VF Engine Mounts :P

they remap to 210-220hp but peak torque only improves around 5NM so is still within limits.  As carl said the rest of the torque curve is raised so you have a more consistent level of torque throughout the rev range.

These limits from what i gather are forum rumour from what i gather. the main tuners like APR and REVO have dopne their testing and say the DSG is more than capable its just the clutch that will give out early. But thats no different to a TFSI in that respect

@ carl.  ive heard Mounts on the fabia make it sound like a V8..
