Axle stands under the sills mate :happy2: Use 4 and make sure you raise the car onto them carefully

.There are 2 holes on the fronts and it can easily be put in the wrong one ( ask JPC )   The design is such that once they are locked in with the weight of the car, they are not coming out without a serious fight.  :rolleye:
Two holes on the front? Do you meen the two holes at the rear and use the front one? Im confused.

Heres what i bought last week with prices for anyone interested

Ramp Lifting pads from Audi S3 RRP exc VAT
(x1) 8P0 802 845 Front Left Jack Pad £8.03
(x1) 8P0 802 846 Front Right Jack Pad £8.03
(x4) 8N0 804 583 Rubber Buffers £1.53 each
(x2) 8P0 802 847 Plastic Jack Pad Plugs £8.03 each

Sadly i did not get them fitted intime for my car to go into the dealers and i now have large bits of sealer scrapped off and hanging down from the inside of the jacking points on the front of the sills.

So are the back ones fitted on the holes nearest the front, Or the holes nearest the rear. As Teutonic_Tamer thread also shows the rear ones used.   TTs thread on his fitted to his mk5

CupraR,

I have these fitted to my mk2 leon cupra mate, fitted exactly same as golf and easy to do.

Cheers Davey.

Maybe I should of said, I'd bought and fitted a set ages ago.

I now find though that some garages can't get onto them and I can't get to them even with a low slung trolley jack.  Car is on a set of Eibach Sportline springs, so must of lowered it too much for these to be of use for me really.

OEM Audi S3 jack pads fit nice !!

A posting I did on another forum:

front:

rear:

Fitting instruction is German, but the picturs tell the complete story:

http://www.a3quattro-forum.de/pdf/Wagenheberaufnahme.pdf

parts numbers:

8N0 804 583 rubber (4 x)
8P0 802 845 cover left front (1 x)
8P0 802 846 cover right front (1 x)
8P0 802 847 cover left + right rear (2 x)

Use some wax spray to conserve the body and silicon to help slip in.

Not the same:

http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?5110208-Do-These-Jack-Pad-Adapters-From-ECS-Really-Work

As you can see I prefer the S3 8P / TT 8J parts. Only these close the plastic trim!
