Seat Wiring...
« on: January 21, 2011, 10:41:06 am »
Does anyone know where I could get a diagram for some heated seats without electronic lumber support?

Or in fact, can anyone tell me which set of wires is the loom for the heated seats?

I had a look under the seat and there appears to be 3 sets of connectors, im guessing one is for the airbag, one for the seat belt indicator and one for the heated seats?

But which one is which? The loom at the front also appears to have a relay attached to it.

The reason I ask is because my heated seats seem to have an intermittent fault, in which they only work when the seat is in certain positions

Cheers

The larger of the three connectors is for the heat/lumbar, usually black. Your correct the two smaller ones are for the airbag and seat belt warning.

Make sure the ignition is off before rummaging you could throw up and airbag fault whilst moving the connectors about, no problem if you have VCDS though.
