EVAP EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM FAULT
« on: January 22, 2011, 11:38:03 am »
Ive already found one slight leak on the evap system(charcoal canister return pipe) but its now showing another fault. Is there anywhere else on the evap system prone to fault?

You may need a new canister. I replaced the breather pipe on mine and it's been ok since touch wood :happy2:

which breather pipe carl?
I resealed the pipe which is on the top of the canister as it seemed loose( it seemed to push in place then twist in or something, but it seemed as if the rubber seal was worn).
This worked last time when the fault appeared!

That's just because the battery has been off.

Drive about 50m and they will go off :happy2:
