I'm going back home to Brum next weekend, so it'd be easy for me to come up. The only thing that'd stop me is if something urgent/important came up while I was at home.

thats ok TC, i was going to wait on the left side of petrol station as if your going back onto the motorway by the air/water machine for cars, that way you can see the convoy running south, hope that makes sense.

Yes i get what you mean but its not like they have to go across a field to get in the service station, its only a 10 second detour, unless you coming in your big wagon.

no to bringing the truck, see enough of that all week, if the convoy is calling in then i will park up.
made me laugh before seeing them pics of them fodens , we used to have a fleet of them nick named sandbach skodas as they were always breaking down, then things got worst we went to ERF, both factorys where up the road from us so it was convenient, not. one of the older guys used to have a big old steam truck in pickfords guise. huge thing.

I'll be travelling from the south via M5 > M6.

I am up and down there like a yo yo. You should be fine on Saturday morning, you might slow down a bit at the top of the M5 but nothing to worry about. All the Sunday drivers don't hit the motorway until about ten, and they then decide to sit in the fast lane at 65.
