I have just spent 5 hours washing and detailing my mo mo in preparation for the big meet, only exhaust tips left to do.
I was going to say its in showroom condition but its far better than that. 
It is now safely tucked away under its duvet in the garage.
Have you lot done yours yet.  maw haha.

Well it sounds like the northern brigade are sorted for a convoy 

So any of the traveling midlanders/southern'rs coming up the M40/M42/M6 Toll???

We can meet for brekkie at the Golden Arche's again if you like?

Ok then, anyone else heading from the South, Junction 4 M42 A34 towards B'Ham, MacDonalds on the right just as you get off the motorway 

Is this still happening? If so, what time would we be meeting at the McDonalds? Myself and Pirelli_P will be heading up past that way I think (Coming from the M40). Sorry if I've missed it being said in the topic - its all quite long and complicated now!

....WTF!!?? Are you not driving your car anywhere between now and next Saturday's meet!?

Yep round siverstone and Monaco's street circuit, in my dreams. 
It will not move until Saturday my car is lucky if it makes it out once a week at this time of year.

I have 3500 on the clock, the paint and bodywork are pristine, not even a little stone chip, monza II not been close to a curb.
I am way to anal about keeping the car away from salty winter roads. to be honest if i could be bothered to do all the things you need to, to store it for the winter i would. I really only drive it this time of year to keep it healthy. 
I work away 3 or 4 days a week and have another car to run around in, so its not as bad as it sounds.

cleaned mine saturday and is dirty again   cars should be driven and i have just clocked 26k and had the car just over a year now and loved every bit of it

How have you managed to do that much in a year, you are retired and you have 12 other V-dubs.

i did alot of the vw shows this year in it and been all over the country in it and been over to the ring in it  , i am in it every day and me and the wife like going out for a drives  so it gets used and its the only car i have bought new so its getting driven and modded on the way

Its not that bad boys, Every time i start it and go for a run its like a treat and still feels like new.
If i know i have got a weekend off i have a little routine, up at seven bacon butty, check my tyre pressure dip the oil and off to Wales on a couple of rally stages. Happy days.
