DSG paddle extensions
« on: January 23, 2011, 09:47:38 pm »
One thing i noticed with the DSG is the paddles are a little on the short side.  Ive seen a few of you guys some nifty looking paddle extensions.

What ones are available.  ive seen some on websites for well over £150 which is nuts for what they are.  I dont dislike it enough to warrant that sort of expenditure.

Surely there are ones which secure onto the original paddles securely

IMHO ignore the stick on ones and go for the replacement versions, they work far better.

The OSIR GT-Shift are slighter bigger and are a very good price  :happy2:

cheers steve, will google them now.  I presume the paddles on the ibiza/fabia DSG7 would be identical to the DSG6 golf paddles etc?

They are not much bigger than stock ones, but they are far better, And pretty cheap for what they are, especially considering the price for the ones that block your view when driving.

They will be the same, they didn't even make a model for the Mk 6 and the wheel is different, they still fit good, but not as good with the Mk 5 wheel.  :happy2:
