GRRC Benefits
« on: January 25, 2011, 11:23:09 am »

Was pleasantly surprised to find that the Goodwood Members club is offering fairly worthwhile discounts on Toyo tyres this year... Makes a change from 10% off tickets to Goodwood events and access to exclusive events that cost you an arm and a leg I thought!

Don't know much about Toyo tyres but I guess they're alright...? The discount will definitely come in handy... I seem to go through tyres like... someone who goes through a lot of tyres!

Would like to do the ladies track day (or any of them come to that) but will have to do some saving up... That would be awesome I think... I've not been on a track day

i received my membership form the other day after I applied about 18 months ago, £345 for the first year including the £170 one-off registration..

I wasn't going to bother but interested in this toyo discount - what % is it?  :happy2:

31% on some... Not sure what that's about though...!

Yeah I know the price is such a rip off unless you're loaded and can afford all the trips etc... Still, it's nice being able to go into the Members only bits and the Revival wouldn't be as good for me if I couldn't go into the paddocks... But at least with this tyre offer they're doing a little bit more...

Once you've paid the horrendous joining fee it's not too bad I guess...!   :popcornsoda:

I had my name on the list a little while ago and despite being told it was very hard to become a member the offer came quite quickly however on balance I think it is very expensive so didn't bother.

I struggle to see the benefits other than a bit of one up manship to be honest.

£375 + the one off fee is easily a set of tyres

IIRC that's one person, it was more to include the ball and chain.

Fortunately I am without such restrictions.

Good point, well made. However my pussies don't need diamonds.  :P
