I might be blind but no one seems to have mentioned this.

They have to go don't they, what a pair of bigots.  Ron Atkinson hasn't worked since his off air comment so why should they?

I agree with Del-Boy. We all have private conversations where we make comments we probably shouldn't. The pair are brilliant commentators, probably the best and that hadn't changed has it? Ron Atkinson's comment was on a different level. There was no need for it.

I once described a girl I had an encounter with at a school disco as having a fanny hairier than Richard Keys' back.

This sounds like a typical Daily Mail reader's selectively taking offence at an innocuous comment they make themselves every day type farce. Yawn...
