I don't they're a replacement. Just a different higher performing model.

There's a sport contact 5 now btw ;)

SC3 are good in wet and very quiet. They are not reliable on track.
My opinion: good replacement for SC2.

The SC5P offers more high performance with more precise steering feel
like the former Michelin PS2.
