People are only going to recommend what they chose. Robin will say Milltek and Mat will shout for Blueflame  :rolleye:  Your not goig to go wrong with either to be honest. The Milltek has a more grown up sound in my opinion understated but there when you want it, were as the Blueflame is a bit thuggish most of the time.  Quality wise not much between them and the `Milltek drones more than the Blueflame.
Thats about it, oh the zorst is the same for both the ED30 and the GTI both 3in pipe now.  :happy2:

Milltek is for you then.  :happy2:

My Blueflame is weird to be honest, at times it can be quiet and others embarrassingly loud, but for no reason it just decides some days to be a lout. I told this to SteveP when he got his and he just looked at me weird.  :stupid: but after his was fitted he agreed with me.

Another suggestion if i may.

Just get the DP and cat, dont bother with a Milltek/BF catback because if does very little in terms of performance.

does the rest of the system make very little difference? i have fitted plenty of systems in the past and generally speaking an uprated cat back is less restrictive i may be wrong  :rolleye:

One thing I would do if worried which manufacturer is use google, and do the reported problem homework.

........you think?. I had the non res on my last GTI &  it was only a bit louder than the o.e exhaust. Many have said the res version is quiter than the o.e system.

We are starting to hear stories of a certain exhaust manufacturer that went bust (and resurfaced under a similar name recently) refusing warranty claims for systems made and sold under their old company name.

We are waiting for a replacement system from the same company that has taken so long we have given up, lost count of how long but it was 4-5 MONTHS!

Try and see/listen to a few systems and make your own mind up. i can highly reccomend Milltek for cystomer service and quality.

I had the milltek resonated system and was quieter than stock. I bought the non resonated section and was much better :happy2:
