Just ordered a tin of the ATE Stuff, will get some braided hoses next month and ds2500s with OEM discs in sept.
Will coincide with fitting VWR clutch kit    & 20k service by then

Where's the best place to buy them at the moment? this is an avenue I am wanting to go down.

Big vote for RBF600, I've run it in all my cars.

DS2500s/A.N.Other performance pad and better fluid make a massive difference. Braided hoses will stiffen up feel too.

Possible downsides are faster wear on the wheel bearings, due to the heat and you might melt the odd CV gaitor on a really hard track day... but for a daily hack, no issues.

Although I couldnt ask for any more from my std brakes and DS2500 naughty pads it worth mentioning that my calipers now look a very dull red colour, im not too bothered to be perfectly honest but i think it might be spotted by some show n shine people.  Dont get me wrong there not really that bad but you can tell that the heat has been there, small price to pay though will see if t-cut helps this weekend.

I've taken the plunge and gone for a big brake kit - 2-piece 360mm diameter discs, steel braided lines, 6 pot billeted calipers, and some 5.1 brake fluid, Ferodo DS2500 pads.

Can't wait to see what it looks like and how they perform?  Got to wait 3-4 weeks before the stuff all arrives and then I got to get it fitted.

Never heard of them, but I thought I'd be the guinea pig and try them out.  They certainly look the part and on paper appear to be ok.

I've heard of them, they're supposed to be pretty decent stoppers.

i think hi-spec uses the same caliper as wilwood . i have wilwoods on my mk1 track hack and they are good

Hispec are a local company to me, ive dealt with them alot with parts including discs but never calipers.
