11.34 with 0-60 of 3.18, not too bad

If only it was in your MK4. Missed the Porsche run.  :sad1:

An awesome day. A few of the usual suspects weren't there which kind of was a bit disappointing. Otherwise good to meet new faces. Went on a spending spree and for once it wasn't on sweeties. There was only one sweety stand that I could see, which was a bit of a disappointment.

On the way back, silly satnav took me down entire roads of "loose chippings" which was gutting.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Was my first time at inters. Met a couple of forum members, all I managed to do was spin the wheels! 6.0secs to 60 and a 14.2sec 1/4 mile :stupid:

Me too...  :ashamed:

Wasn't even prepared to go down the strip but had no choice! Ah well, at least it was free.  :pomppomp:

Wouldn't mind doing it again though.

Guys, genuine question - where was the forum stand?  I looked in most areas but couldn't see a dedicated one for here. Saw the clubgti stand from it's banner.

I only spent a couple of hours there as I was pretty hungover but managed to briefly bump into Al (Big Al) again, who was deep in convo with someone :happy2:
Saw Jake's car by the Revo stand.

Presume it was Ben's white 135i that was running some decent times(?).
Would have liked to have seen Neil's trials and tribulations but I got there way too late.

Just caught 'the' 911 on a run. It sounded epic

Glad it seemed to be a good day for most

Was a good day and enjoyed my first one.. It was good to meet some of you and the cars of the ones I didn't lol... Really enjoyed the convoy in this morning that I Tagged onto the end to..

Quite a bit burnt now tho, lol

On the way back, silly satnav took me down entire roads of "loose chippings" which was gutting.

Had exactly the same on the way back, nearly every other road was like it but no where near as bad as the one in from the hotel as was only doing 5mph on that one..

nice to catch up with the usual peeps.  :happy2:

hope the 3 "Scirocco" invaders didn't cause any probs for you guys and girls.

Saw Joe's run in the white 911....very nicely done. Has PDK i take it

Gotta say mighty impressed at how quick JonnyC can change gears in his TTRS and doing some stonking times.

I turned left out of the airfield and followed the signs for Lutterworth. No loose chippings on that road thank god.

Superb day, I kind of got embroiled in the 1/4 mile all day and suddenly it was time to go home!

The black death was by no means quick, surface was a shocker as ever, but at least I had some fun. Didn't bother stripping out, sticky tyres etc, so I've got a proper stock benchmark.

5.2 0-60
13.7 quarter.
Sideways yo!

think u were very very consistent tho mike with the runs i saw.

Did you let Tabs have a go in it? think he was lil bit slower (5.7 0-60 from memory)

Ben did a 5.0 i think.

I ran (i ran 4times and this was my first and quickest)

14.2 1/4

5.5 0-60

Had a massive dsg fail on 2 of my runs when launch control didnt work! Was rather annoyed.
