think u were very very consistent tho mike with the runs i saw.

Did you let Tabs have a go in it? think he was lil bit slower (5.7 0-60 from memory)

Ben did a 5.0 i think.

I kind of got a feel quite early, as I fishtailed the whole first run!

Tabs was the bad run, he couldn't turn off the TC

Ben's was strong. Obviously his is mapped and has DCT and LC, but I think it was causing problems launching and sandbagging his times. That's got much more in it.

You're not wrong mate. Soooo frustrating! As much as I like electronic gizmos in this day in age, sometimes they can ruin things..  :sad1: Launching wasn't a problem at all, it was the poxy stability control that didn't like the bumps  :sad1: According to the V-Box on Sat evening, I lost a good 6/10ths on the 0-60...
Never mind, I still had a cracking weekend and it was a shame I saw you so late in that day.  :sad1:

Great day, and like others have said, got a very red head today. I convoyed over there with Joe in the porka and Tom in his mapped TTRS, its the only time my stg2+ S3 has felt under-powered lol was a good drive over though. The porka sounded awesome going through the tunnel in Stoke

Managed a 13.4 on my first run and couldn't better that, sure I did a 13.1 last year so was a tad dissapointed, I'd even put the lighter TD's on in an attempt to beat it lol.

My final thougths are I need a mapped TTRS in my life, Tom's is stunning and goes so well :driver: :driver:

Official times are in:

Annoyingly, I'd have won the Misc class on Sunday had some joker not decided to run a Viper down the sprint. Oh well!!
Sideways yo!

Thought it was a black Corvette?

So you were the one i was saying "Seriously, GTI International? Who is letting BMWs on the strip?" about.  :happy2:

To be honest, only VW Group cars should have counted towards the strip times. Although times should have been provided to those not in VAG cars, they should not have been put in the competition pool.

Viper/Vette they all look the same to me.

I paid my money to get in and for my sprints - their decision to run a Misc class, not mine. I've attended and supported International for over a decade, are you saying I shouldn't have run, Luke?

I knind of see your point, a fleet of (insert car) turning up for some cheap action is wrong, GTI enthusiasts who happen to have something else with them on the day is another matter.

You'll notice I didn't put it on the free handling track, which was excellent BTW. I thought that would have been rude and taking advantage. I'm not a complete b******!

Isn't that the whole point of them having the Misc class?

I managed 3rd on the mkv 1/4 mile times  my runs were absolutely shocking aswell :rolleye:
I'll have to get some practise runs in before next year, I shredded my sessantas up well and truly aswell. Launch control is pants, I changed up as quick as I could and still just spun tyres up :stupid:
