They are Longlife plugs whereas the ones i listed are Bosch Longlife ones.

The Bosch are the latest plugs they sell ( i bought mine about 3 weeks ago )

Just picked up the '30 from having its 45K and DSG services, invoice for the plug change has the 101 905 631H part number listed, £44.64 for 4  :happy2:

I had to go and check incase i'd put the wrong no. on from the box  :grin:

What update are you on??

Mine is

ETKA 7.2

VW - 843/417
Skoda - 377/417
Seat - 371/417
Audi - 843/417

The 417 is just the pricing so don't worry too much about that but the first no.s are the actual update revison :happy2:

NGK BKR7IEX's seem to work well on the FSi and ive not seen any problems with them so far.  May just be the standard NGK's that have been an issue.  I have had more issues with Denso and Bosch's in the past.

Standard as far as i'm aware. They were put in by Skoda on it's last service. Only lasted 14k Miles :fighting:

Hi guys I believe I may have spark plug issue's or coil packs aswell just took my Ed30 a wee blast with my mate to let him feel my coilovers car was running for a good 5/10mins warmed up left his street 30mph then headed out of town onto a 60mph car was running my pump giac map and as it hit over 2500rpm the car began to misfire and judder we both thought coil pack but no eng mangment light on, So exited the roundabout tried accelerating the missfire came back along with the Eng mang light flickering on and off?!?!

I drove the car home safely there but have noticed that while idle at the traffic lights its not running right at all! I had the car out last night and it was running fine :smiley: Its done 25,500miles and still on original plugs and coil packs, I'm just going out to check the coil packs  :fighting:

Well mine seems to be getting worse. Massive amount of misfire this afternoon, with the engine management light flashing with it. Roll on the fitment of the new plugs.

My new plugs are 101 905 631H (Bosch).

Whilst i had not noticed any misfire or MIL issues prior to my plugs being changed today, i must say that the car definitely feels and idles better with the new plugs fitted  :happy2:

First plug change in 44K, won't be leaving it that long again as even Mrs Beddie could feel the difference straightway!

Why have I just fitted NGK PFR7S8EG's then not BKR7EIX or BKR8EIX? Mines only a GTI rather than an ED30 but even the NGK website lists the ones I have as the correct one, not the other codes?
