Hey everyone.
I have a 2005 Golf GTI , manual transmission with about 64.000 km or I believe 40.000 miles. I love this car and would like to keep it for a long time, rather than sell it to buy something slightly newer and faster.
I already know the engines in these things are pretty darn reliable and wanted to ask you ppl's opinions on whether or not it's a smart move to consider an expensive Stage III APR tuning for the car. They take it to almost 400 hp and from what I gather around the internet, they do a reliable long-term job (vw approved or just hype ??). So the car already has 64.000 km and I wanted to know what you ppl think of the long-term reliability with such a drastic tuning job ?
Also any opinions on what the best brake upgrade would be for such power and any other things that might need upgrading to keep it all safe with the power ?
Thanks a lot and cheers !
