Absolutely buzzing!
« on: February 05, 2011, 04:34:43 pm »
Afternoon all.

Would anybody be able to explain this phenomena?  Went to get the car (2007 Mk5 GTi) out of the garage this afternoon, pulled the drivers door open and heard the usual whirr of pumps and stuff getting ready but then my rear speakers started buzzing quite loudly.  Car started fine, drove it out the garage, RNS on and off again, switched the ignition off - still buzzing.  Got out, locked it - still buzzing!  Anyway, drove off up the road with the buzzing in my ears to Boots (to buy some earplugs for work as it happens!) and parked it up.  When I came back to the car the buzzing had stopped and it was fine all the way home.

Is there anything I ought to check out or do I just ignore it until the next time?

Cheers, JJ.

Mine did that once, about 3 weeks after fitting the RNS but has been fine ever since, had to reboot the unit to clear it though
