Best GTI running on Portugal!

I'm asking him if the pipe who was in induction kit before doesn's heated a lot.

I mounted a induction kit before and need to take out because the heat, he heated the MAF sensor and the car run in safe mode.

What kind of protection can I put?

ps: well, maybe better I open my project here too

@dragperformance. Awesome brakes, and the most beautiful GTI i have ever seen. You have Brembo 6pot calipers right? This idea with carbon on calipers i've seen it on some M3 E92's Brembos :D

Keep up the good work

Hi Mate,

Thank you very much.
Your car is much better of mine and you have a lot of power in the car ;)

Regards
Tony

I have a intake kit, made by my mechanical, here's a picture:

But MAF sensor heated a lot and put my car in safe mode.

Now running with stock box plus bmc air filter inside.

Wich the best option, put again intake kit, but put some kind of protection? which protection?

Or let stay original?

The best induction is with induction direct in my opinion.

SOrry this looks pretty awful and must get heat soaked??? No Maf sensor???

The GTI is great car!! Those brakes are car porn!!!!!! Not sure on the DRLs though! What numbers are you pushing? You have an intercooler yet?

Really like your car, Nice work on all the mods you have done.

Did you have to get custom brackets made for the AMG brake kit>?
