Yeah as Gaz says its an oil burner unfortunately  I am going for a new GT TDI 170 in black 3dr with full colour coded votex kit, sunroof, armrest with i-pod prep etc...£16999!!  :jumpmove: :rolleye: I have already been eyeing up some 19's and H&R springs for it so it will look the nuts and it should not be to slow after removing the DPF and getting it Revo'd! Will be really sad to see mine go but I will be moving out of the parents early next year so I need to save up a bit of cash, im only 20 so I have plenty of time to own cars like mine in the future. My car is costing me £120 a week in fuel because I do galactic miles! I probably wont save much a first because I will want to make it look individual as there are fooking hundreds of these out on the roads but in the long run it will benefit me!  :happy2:

Yeah thanks Mike, I think I will need it with the way our country is at the moment. I have been watching the progress of Notnormals's car for a while and it really turned me onto the fact that they can be made into a really nice looking car for relatively cheap and when I found this one with the kit on for such a good price it just made sense  :happy2:

Good luck selling, sure you'll be happy in the TDI still - power and economy, and by the sounds of it will be a bit different from the norm.  If your doing the miles is a no brainer and I expect will almost half your fuel bill.

Dude if you want an oil burner, you ever considered used BMW diesels ?

i've had an e46 330d sport and a e60 535d sport, great performance with great economy !

You could even consider the new 118d ( 160bhp+ with remap and £20-35 per year roadtax !! ) or the new 320d engine, 170bhp stock , 200bhp + with a remap, plus the BMW deisels rev alot more than the VAG units and feel smoother and sound better ?

goodluck with whatever you choose !

I looked at quite a few beemers, I tried a new 320d m-sport coupe, lovely car but it was 24k and in the same position I am in now. Don't like one series and the five series is a bit too 'old man' for me if you catch my drift, im only 20! Im still very much into my modding and I know quite a lot about the MKV, I am looking forward to this new project, it will be my fifth MKV and hopefully the best one yet!  :jumpmove: :happy2:

Shame to see that go Tom, it sounded beautiful as well.
I fear you may have it for a while still though. under current climate.
