« on: February 07, 2011, 09:20:16 pm »
Autobrite are doing a group buy for members of Detailing World.

Been a member for a while and these seem the best make available.

Just in case anyone was interested it's worth popping over and having a look.

Hopefully get mine delivered this week with 5L of the Magifoam that's getting rave reviews.

I'm very ignorant of this kind of washing equipment. What else is needed to do the job?
VW Golf Edition 30, Candy White, 3dr Manual. Plus a stunning Aston Martin V12 Vantage!

just a pressure washer.

So pressure washer connects to Foam lance and bottle of foam and water - spray over the car and leave to dwell for 20-30 minutes.

In this time the foam should pull the dirty off the car. Then rinse.

Sometimes a quick wash with soapy water and a wash mitt (not sponge) though once clean and kept up regularly then the foam spray should be all that's needed.

:scared: Please don't leave it on for so long. It'll dry and ruin the paintwork. Leave for 5 mins (maybe 10) - the snowfoam should not dry out.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Foam lances are best used as a pre wash as the foam will not remove all the dirt. As Stealth said upto 10mins is more than enough dwell, good in winter times as I never use mine in the summer. Can you get spares for the AB lance?
