In the end.. i took the easy option, and I have bought a case machined out of african sapele wood, it will just need sanding and finishing!

Should look like this...



.. which i think looks a dam sight better than the rectangular box abomination that I was going to fashion!  :grin:

Looks smart, especially with the blue underlighting...

I quite like Laurence Wilkin's machined ally case he made for his "Bigtime" clocks:



But I left my PCB exposed, let everyone see the results of my handiwork  :laugh:

I am not sure a wooden surround suits the tubes. That ally one looks the biz, all personal choice of course, i think they look great with a industrail look.  :happy2:

Yeah that i a very nice clock, hmmm... might have to try to source a big digit one at some point, although i cannot find IN-18 tubes anywhere!

These things are just so cool.. i cant stop looking at it. :jumping:  I had a call off my mum last night asking me if i can build on up for my sisters b;day  :signLOL:

Oooh I like that lots.

Can you make the first digit display a "0"? It's a user-settable parameter in my clock and IMO makes it look better during the day.
