Nice mate! ive got the other way to be honest! i used to have a specialized big hit, then a santa cruz downhill bike. But i kept coming off and ive got some pretty perminant scars, and fooked ankles now! haha!

Ive got quite a lot of my downhill parts on my XC rig, for example ive got a 220mm 6 pot brake set up on there! wtf?! haha! its the hope 6ti set. Ill probably stick some M4s on there soon!

enjoy mate!

Used to love it and living in Scotland had the perfect locations on my doorstep.

Had a Scott, which was stolen  :sad1: then got myself a k2 full suspension bike.

Was marvellous in it's day but think tech has moved on a pace over the last 6 years. Keep threatening to get it out, serviced and hit the hills but with a young family some things in life have to take second place sadly

Yeh pretty much a self confessed bike nut here

I have bought, sold & restored 100's (literally) of bikes over the past 20 years. Currently have circa 30 bikes dotted in my folks loft, garage, my loft, shed! All high end mostly mid 90's stuff - the golden era of anodised bling!

Love the mid 90's Konas - owned every model from 1994 through to 1996 at some point or other

My commuter spesh road bike I bought the same time as my Golf, in that 2 years I have done 18,000 miles on the road bike & 6k in the golf!

I love a bit of xc etc, done all the 7 stanes in Scotland many times, rode a lot of peak district too. I head to Cannock & Thetford as these are local to me. Just signed up for 10undertheBen this year if anybodys interested take a look, still lots of places & a really good atmosphere / friendly xc race

I'll be using either a cotic Soul or Soda (if I can convince the misses I NEED another bike frame!) for this years racing duties

If anybody needs advice on repairs or purchases I don't proclaim to know everything but can lend some advice if I can
