Europe got the GTI in '76, no? So I think it'll be announced this year and we get them next year for our anniversary, as we tipped up a year later in '77 - which I might add was also when the best people were born....

The 24 hour Rocco thingy was available for 80 odd grand so this might be as well.  :innocent:
I have to say it just looks like any other golf with arches stuck on. I would even go as far to say that if a American lad had posted this as his car we would all laugh him off the forum. I am sure it's immense on track though.  :driver:

....I've just been talking on the phone to my BIALI mate Dan who has that very nicely modified Mk4 R32 and he and I were saying exactly the same... Forget the RS3!

I can see the 35th Anni Golf costing £40k... Assuming that VW do the right thing, which I doubt they will as they never have done an anni Golf in a full-blooded way.
