Not something i've worried about before merely read others woes on the matter, but the dreaded white worm has found my car

Brought her out of storage for the summer and gave her a damn good clean.... only to discovery each wheel was covered in this:


when i last saw them they were just fine but now clearly not, so considering i havent really been paying attention to white worm discussions what are my options?
i'm guessing to fix this i would need to get the wheels re-machined? if thats the case i might consider painting them (black inserts white spokes
