Cruise control not working???

Hi guys im new too this forum.
I bought a mk5 gti with a dsg box, since ive had the car i have not been able too get cruise control to work?!
Do anyone have any ideas or had the same problem?

Check the fuse  :happy2: Thats a common problem with cruise

i looked through the manual and couldnt find a fuse for it? Where abouts would that be?

don't bother looking for the fuse
best to check it with vag com
Is it the old style stalk? as they are prone to failing due to dirt getting inside

ed im sure mine used to hold the set speed going down hill , but seems to run over now any ideas?

The CC doesn't use any other braking other than natural engine braking.
